Keep in mind that the person interviewing you will want you to address
some key points. The questions that the interviewer may ask:
- Why are you interested in the position? The
interviewer is generally looking for the applicable experience and/or
knowledge of the trade/position.
- What skills do you have
that you will bring to the position? The interviewer is looking at how
your skills will benefit and support their business. If you do not have
the specific skills needed for the job, try stressing your commitment
and willingness to learn the requirements needed for the position.
- Why
do you want to work for us? The interviewer generally wants to know how
well you know the company. Talk about the reputation of the company,
the contribution you can make to the organisation as well as the
experience that you can gain from the organisation.
- Why do
you think you are the best person for the position? Again talk about
the contribution you can make to the organisation. Focus on your
skills, achievements and willingness to learn.
